Privacy Policy for UAE Interior Design Trends
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information is collected when you use the UAE Interior Design Trends website at scopernia.ae, how it is used, who may see it, and the choices you have. It applies to all pages on this site, including our Blog.
Information we receive
You can read most of this site without telling us who you are. The information we receive falls into two broad groups.
- Server and CDN logs: when your browser requests a page, our hosting and content delivery network record technical details such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the URL requested, and your browser user agent. These records are used to keep the site running, defend against abuse, and diagnose issues.
- Comments (if you choose to post one): when comment forms are open, WordPress collects the information you type (comment text, name, email address, and optionally a website URL). WordPress also stores the commenter’s IP address and browser user agent to help with moderation and to reduce spam. At the time of writing, no comments are published yet, but the feature is available.
How we use your information
- To deliver pages and media to you and keep the site secure and reliable.
- To moderate comments and, if approved, display them alongside the relevant article.
- To troubleshoot performance or availability problems using aggregated server and CDN logs.
- To respond to messages you send to our published email addresses. Your email will include the contents you provide and your email address.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses only the cookies needed for its basic functions. There is no analytics, advertising, or newsletter tracking.
- WordPress administrative cookies: required for site administrators to log in and manage content. These do not apply to regular readers.
- Commenter convenience cookies: if you leave a comment, WordPress may offer to save your name, email, and website so your browser can prefill them next time. You can decline this in your browser.
- CDN/edge caching: our CDN caches copies of pages and media to speed delivery. This may rely on non-identifying cache keys or headers rather than cookies.
- For more detail, see the Cookie Policy linked in the site footer.
Who else can see or process your data
We do not sell reader data and we do not run third-party advertising, affiliate tracking, or analytics on this site. Limited sharing happens as part of operating a modern website:
- Hosting provider and content delivery network: process server and edge logs and serve site content.
- WordPress software: stores comments and related metadata when you submit them.
International access and transfers
Because we use a content delivery network, your requests may be routed through servers outside your country so that pages load quickly. Technical logs and cached copies necessary to provide the service may be processed in those locations.
How long we keep information
- Comments: if you submit a comment and it is approved, the comment and its metadata are kept as part of the article’s record until you ask us to remove it or the article is removed. Unapproved or spam comments may be deleted during routine moderation.
- Server and CDN logs: kept for the period needed to operate, secure, and audit the service. Retention may vary by provider and system.
- Emails you send us: retained for as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a record of our correspondence.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
- To request access, correction, or deletion (for example, of a published comment), email [email protected].
- You can control cookies using your browser settings. If you clear cookies, commenter convenience cookies will be removed.
- If you contact us, we may ask for information needed to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children’s information
This site is aimed at a general audience interested in interior design. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information here, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page. Material changes will apply going forward from the date of posting.
